Iron tote....

I made this cute little iron tote for carrying my Rowenta mini iron to sewing classes.  It opens up to become an ironing pad and will store your hot iron.  Of course I let my iron cool somewhat before storing it in the tote, just to be safe.
I used the Sisters' Common Thread pattern "Caddy Pad Jr." which had easy to follow instructions and the Heat-Resistant lining was included in the pattern.  I added two layers of Insul-Brite batting between the lining and outer fabric.  Another fun and easy project.

More Casserole Totes....

Been busy making these Casserole Totes for a local shop, Fabuless Finds, which is selling them for me.  I was approached by the shop owner when I gave her sister a tote for her birthday.  I think I'll make some matching wine totes.
Also started making these little wine totes using matching fabric to the casserole totes.  Fun and easy to make.

Christmas Favorites quilt...

Finally finished this quilt called Christmas Favorites from the pattern by Nancy Halvorsen.  There are several 3-D blocks, the Poinsettia, the Santa, the Candy Cane, the Ornament and the Believe blocks all have some 3-D accents. I added ornaments and some bling to the tree in the Believe block and scattered bling throughout the quilt.  I'm happy to be able to finish more quilts since I purchased my Tin Lizzie long arm quilting machine.
