Today is Haley and Kierstin's Thirteenth birthday. It's hard to believe that our sweet little girls are now teenagers. They are still our sweet girls. 
Kierstin wanted money for her present so she could go clothes shopping. I'm anxious to see what she buys. She has very good taste in clothes. We also gave the girls initial lockets with pictures inside and Brighton charm bracelets figuring that they are now young ladies and it's time they had some nice jewelry.
Haley was thrilled to get a gift certificate for riding lessons at Longwood Equestrian Center where she will be riding a lovely gray quarter horse mare. She will have her evaluation lesson tomorrow afternoon. Sherry can't be there, but I will pick her up and take her with camera in hand.
We gathered here at our home at 3:00 in the afternoon and enjoyed a chocolate chip cookie cake with ice cream. Cindy stopped by and Memaw was there too. Haley had to leave for soccer practice so the gathering had to break up early, but it was nice to have everyone together for this special birthday. They are having parties this weekend with some of their friends.
