Flutterby
Boy is it hard to get a good photo of a feeding butterfly. This little pretty little thing was bouncing from bloom to bloom on our Azalea bush. I was using my 300x zoom so as not to get too close and still wasn't able to get a good sitting still shot. I'm not sure what kind she is, maybe a Zebra Swallowtail. I've also seen some small bright yellow butterflies fluttering through the yard. Hope I can get some shots of them too, but boy are they fast.
Next time can you put it on "burst"? That way you can capture the movement and choose on of the best shots. I do that a lot with my Cybershot. I like all the flowers from the yard. Very nice.
I'm enjoying my retirement, my wonderful husband, my grandchildren and my three Papillon dogs, Icee, LaLa and Chili. I love gardening and especially enjoy growing Orchids. I used to show horses in the AQHA/Palomino circuits. That was great fun. I enjoy bass fishing with my husband and I love our lakeside sunsets. I've gotten back into sewing with my new Bernina 830 machine, making quilts, purses & other crafty stuff.
